USING
THE DRUMXTREME RANGE OF PRODUCTS WITHIN THE UK NATIONAL
CURRICULUM
What the National Curriculum says :
The National Curriculum describes music as
a powerful unique form of communication that can transform
the way pupils feel, think and act.
Through music pupils learn to listen and to
apply their knowledge and understanding as they develop
:
(a) performing skills
(b) composing skills
(c) appraising skills.
The National Curriculum encourages the use
of ICT in all subjects and can be used to develop practical
skills and musical understanding. It is vital that ICT activities
are appropriate to the musical task and appropriate to the
level of support available from the teaching staff, as this
will ensure that they are offering a unique way of learning
within the timescales available ensuring the musical task
is rewarding to the pupil.
The DrumXtreme Range can help pupils to use and investigate
sounds and structures, refine and enhance performance and
composition and extend their knowledge of different styles
of music.
